#1 Post by seabass88 »

Hey I have a few of these made up like a mackeral feather ror with 3 on each , size 4 hooks and grubs maybe 1.5 inches long , heading to a mark on tues on high tide where I usually get pollock, coalies, mack and scad do you think there worth a go or stick with mack feathers or spinning ? I've had these over a year and wouldn't mind trying them , I have this variation and also olive green ones bright orange ones and bright yellow ones cheers

Agree with mackfish on your set up best to fish on a leadhead or on a single size 4 behind a couple of lg sized split shot great s.p for pollock the one in the photo will work a treat but try the others and see how u go best of luck

best thing to do is try both ways and see what works for you if you dont catch dont give up its still a little early to get numbers of pollock in yet

1.5 inches is small for a leadhead. Rig them paternoster and bash the mackies.

I would try both ways. Maybe a float fished under your rigs fished deep. I've used these rigs you made on the boats with great returned. Let us know how it goes. Good luck.
