GLENARM BREAKWATER 191/06

#1 Post by SIMPO »

TIME: 1100 TO 1430HRS

RIGS: PULLEY RIG'S AND 3 HOOK CLIP DOWN'S

BAIT: RAG AND SANDEEL

WEATHER: BLUSTERY

FISH: SWEET DAM ALL

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Called into Jimmy's got the bait and headed round the coast. Looked at both the breakwater at Glenarm and the beach. The weather forecast showed 18mph westerly.....and it was everybit 18mph and a bit more. Drove round to the ledges before Waterfoot......no chance......too windy......headed back to Glenarm breakwater and fished from 1130 to 30mins after high tide. Baits not even touched. Tried spinning, spun sandeel, float fished with both sandeel and rag......nothing.......There was a couple of guys arrived around the corner and headed down onto the white rocks....Wonder if they got anything...if this was you give me a shout..........

WHERE IS THE COD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :? :shock:

At this time of year, business is slow in tackle shops so he keeps his opening hours but is not always there- just ring him on the mobile and he is usually there in 5 or 10 mins.

Even a bad days fishing is better than working.

Hi Rab525, jimmy lives down past the old cinema, so he can be at the shop within minutes.......or you can catch him in the local pub :wink:
