Killiney 26th Mar

#1 Post by FRANK1 »

People:Self and Martin
Duration:19.30-22.30

Tide:20.00

Weather:nice ,cool and calm

Bait:Leftovers from very disappointing trip to Ballyhack (lug, rag, crab no good)

Rigs:Flap and trailer

Results:5 coalie ,2 codling,2 whiting and a rockling . All caught on the leftover reams of bait from out club comp on arthurstown sunday(fished because a boat blocking ballyhack).

Report:

All in the region 20 - 30 cm .Amazing that instead of travelling 100 miles away , you can hop in the car , drive 10 mins and catch twice as many fish .Great night and lovely to see the good coalie rattles again .I will def be travelling over there mid week again a lot more ,.

Guy up from us had an LSD .

No doubt I will see Mr John1 in the area soon if not too busy out in the boat .

Good man FRANK1 i dont know why there are not more comps held on killiney as it nearly always produces a few fish, good way to use up the bait must hook up with you again for a few hours some evening, just out from a 5 day stay in hospital maybe next week or something like that. drop me a line if your heading out and i will see how i am fixed
