rod and reel

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

rod and reel

#1 Post by seabass88 »

Using two Shakespeare salt and agility rods at the moment with two Abu multipliers though multipliers are to small for heavy sea fishing I belive , there fine for light fishing though seems any decent cast takes most of the line off the reels

Anyone have any reccomendations of any decent reels under 100 quid ? I know you get what you pay for though the places I fish give your gear some hammering and it would be a sin to ruin an expensive piece of gear in muddy /stilted up estuarys ?

Also anyone know of any good basic rod and reel deals for around the same price as my mate at the moment is using two pike rods for the job lol
