#1 Post by jgraham768 »

Hello lads, could anyone tell me the criteria for an approved scales or where i can get one pre-approved etc. any and all info on them really, would like to see for sure if i ever get a specimen. Also what's required on my part with said fish? Do they have to be taken ashore?

Thanks in advance.

Best waiting until they change the rules to a length based system with an accompanying photo

Well i was reading their 2013 specimen publication a while ago and kind of skimmed through the photographic evidence thing, but from what i could gather on that is the length based system will only be used on endangered species or something similar to that? Plus you can never get a record weighing fish without having scales.
