Duration: Zone 1: 1hour, Zone 2: a little over 2 hours
Tide: 2 up 2 down … High water 19:40
Weather: nice
Bait: lug, rag, crab, frozen razor and mackerel
Rigs: the Bally/C specials both of us
Results:
Zone 1: John, 1 each of cod, flounder, coalie and shore rockling.

Zone 2: flounder under 30cm good size coalies up to 40cm plus the odd shore rockling. We didn’t bother with the counting as the fish were coming in at a steady rate with plenty of mixed doubles.
I did take away a dozen coalies between 35 and 40cm for Harry. He do like his fish. Anyone who have an issue with this can contact Harry in person. He's the black fellow on the left.

Report: The plan was to hit the usual ground for the daylight session and hit Garryvoe for darkness with the hope of catching a cod worth looking at.
Zone 1, I headed to my rock mark while Johns usual spot was taken by a local “bass angler” chancing his arm at this shore angling thing.

With darkness moving in it was time to move.
Zone 2:
A quick dart across the back roads and we were at Garryvoe. First cast out was the banked rod and rig from zone 1. The bait looked ok and the trace had not tangled so why not. Set up the second rod and sent it off into the darkness. In no time the second rod was on fish. Reeled in a nice coalie and shore rockling double happy days. Next fish in was from the first rod out another nice coalie.
John was to the right with the same story single and double fish at a steady rate.
We reckoned we had at least 15 fish a man at this zone. With the chance that John piped me at the post.

This is the last episode for this show. We all know what happened with the likes of Rocky and Police Academy they all die a death by episode V.
The flounder are out in deep water waiting for the scent of peeling crab to be washed out of the estuaries in the next big ebbing tide.
“Return of the Big Flounder” on its way soon.
