Alright guys.
When you are using frozen baits, are you supposed to use them frozen, or let them thaw out first?
I tried using frozen razorfish for the first time a few weeks before Christmas and had a nightmare of a time trying to put it on my hooks. It just broke in two every time I tried to put it on. I tried my best to hold it on with bait elastic but it just looked a right mess. No wonder it didn't catch anything...
And also sandeels. I'm intent on landing my first thornback rays from Fahan this coming summer, and sandeel is the bait to use. Do I bait up while its still frozen, and if so how do I thread it onto the hook withough breaking it!?!?!
Cheers.

Yeah, as said let them thaw out before putting them on the hook. But in this weather it can take ages for them to thaw properly, so I would recomend to begin thawing them ( a few pieces anyway ) before you arrive at your fishing spot, especialy if your only going for a short session. Thats just my experience though. You don't want to arrive at your spot and have to wait for an hour for your first few frozen baits to thaw, like I have done  :x
