Sea Angling Club near Citwest, Dublin

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help. I have recently moved back to Ireland from London. I'm living in Citywest at the minute. I have been fishing for a good few number of years around Donegal (although not much when I was in England) now but I have never joined a club. So I am looking to join a club around the Dublin area (preferably near Citywest / Tallaght etc) so I can get back into fishing and also pick up some tips etc and in general have some craic. So does any one know of any clubs that are located near me and that accept novices? Also is there tackle shops near me as I have to start from scratch and build some gear (left all my stuff with a mate in London).

Stella Maris meet monthly in tallaght, old mill pub. They run both shore and boat comps yearly. The club secretary contact is in the link above.
