Results: pin whiting and crabs..lots of them

Still mack in dublin bay are they from last season or are they the new seasons early birds ?

My friend just moved to sandymount so we'll be giving pool ed a few sessions this year. Any idea when smoothies run . May or June?

late may they should start to show but only on tides 3.8 m and above also evening tides are best

Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

had some of the best fishing last year when there was a big chop on the water also better chance of a bass with a bit of a chop

myself and shane h went to poobeg on the 17 of may last year and hammered smoothies all night 14 of 15 between us ,and as is always the way in fishing i got an 8 lb bass on my first cast lol,bass must have calenders too :lol: :lol: :lol:

Jasus. That was nice going. Is there still flounder there in April. Used to catch good big ones there in spring many moons ago

there are still flounder around but not as many or as big as years ago
