People:me and mate

Duration:2 hours

Tide:flooding

Weather:crap

Bait:lug

Rigs:

Results:codling,dabs,whiting

Report: Had a quick session today while on the way to drop furniture to a bloke in wicklow just to start off the new year.Tips were kept busy with treble shots of whiting with the odd dab and small codling thrown into the mix, the weather was crap but it was nice to knock the dust off the gear and get out for a bit no blank for the first session of 2014 so in happy

Nice little session there, there doesn't seem to be any whiting where I've been fishing in Donegal so far this winter.

Going to give a quick bump on this as I was down today and road is not great. Not as bad as years back but the recent storms have taken a toll on the repair work.

Fishing was ok but nothing close to what I know the venue can throw up and for the risk of getting stuck other beaches make more appeal.
