Mullaghmore Boat and Sea Angling Club

2014 Interprovincial Shore Youths/Juniors
Championships

14-16 February

Sligo and Donegal Bay

In behalf of Mullaghmore Boat and Sea angling Club congratulations to all the Anglers for qualifying throughout 2013 to fish in the provincial championships.
As a club we aim to promote fishing and support our future generation of Anglers as best as we can and I hope our choice of Headquarters and venues will prove this. Headquarters will be The Bundoran Holiday Centre which is run by SVP and is situated in the centre of Bundoran. I would be grateful if all Teams would take up this offer as the HQ will be our House for the weekend.
Accommodation will be €30.00 per person per night including Full Breakfast. I have arranged for a late checkout on Sunday after the presentation.
There is a variety of Restaurants, Cafes and Take Aways in Bundoran, some will give a 10% discount. I will hand out more info on arrival.
For Bookings please E-mail me to msac@live.ie
For any Team staying over on Sunday, I'm currently trying to get a deal with the local Cinema or Bowling Alley for discount.

Just in case you havent heard this has been cancelled. After a lot of reccies last weekend it was thought the new venues would do as others were stripped of sand or were missing car parks! etc. - but wednesday made a mess of everything. I feel sorry for Mullaghmore SAC and the Connacht shore committee who did a great job and mother nature decided otherwise.

I dont know what the problem was and think the weather was used as an excuse to cancel it myself. I drove to Bundoran on saturday (the day it was to start) and conditions on all beaches was perfect not problems what so ever.
I cant speak for all entrants but my nephew was out of pocket for bait and the the time spent getting ready for this was wasted
An absolute joke that less than 24 hrs notice was given for cancellation.

Well done to all who made the teams
I was Stewart for the U16s and I have to say a great well done to all the competitors they fished their socks off
great work by all team managers and parents involved
Jim Snoddy needs a good pat on the back for organizing the event at short notice, great fishing venue and a great hotel
And good luck to all travelling to Scotland to represent us, the future Irish senior teams will be in good hands when these lads start coming through
