waterford codling

People:myself and Ste C

Duration:8pm -2.30am

Tide: hw midnight

Weather:windy and wet at the start dry and windy at the end

Bait:fresh crab, mussel, lug, squid,

Rigs:pen pullys and flappers

Results:codling to 4lb whiting to 40cm flounder to 39 cm




Report:arrived at the mark a little later than planed but a good time to start getting the bigger of the codling so out went the rods and after about a half hour the rods started to show some action with a few nice whiting and the odd small codling aswell then ste's rod got a good whack and he landed a codling of 3lb this was to be the start of a good couple of hours with us both geting some good fish ste with flounder to 39cm and whiting to 40 cm myself with some nice whiting and codling to 4lb fishing droped of with the ebb so we packed up and headed home happy with the nights results
