People:me eyes and mitch(ger)

Duration:a few hours

Tide:wrong

Weather:a bit breezy

Bait:mixed

Rigs:mixed

Results:poor




Report:
ger came down to try a bit of dinky fishing and used his boom rigs which he explained in great detail on how to make them and how good they were, sorry ger but a bit of a failure I believe, fishing was poor due to the tide being wrong but will be better next week,i got 9 small fish don't know about eyes but I wont bother with ger as I hate embarrassing my friends :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

9 small fish :shock: ,,,,,WELL DONE :mrgreen: ,,, Nice report Neil,,,very informative :wink: . Ger was catching plenty of doubles,,,pouting and codling,,,you probably missed them as you were getting caught up in other lads' line's at the time :wink: :roll: . Those boom rigs were very handy, i'll be trying to make a few of my own. Fishing was very slow alright,,,fishes better on the drop,,,I had a few pollock and flounder before you came ,,,,and when you went I went back to the jellyworms tipped with mack on the light rod and had a few more pollock. All in all ,,,,,,it was great to be out :shock:

Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

Time we had a "Last Man Standing" between Fishface and Eyesreilly complete with seconds and referee!
Eyesreilly, you have a magnificent collection of tea cloths.

Better than we did Friday night. could hardly stand up on the pier wind was
that strong.
