Report: after a hard nights fishing with the club and not a lot to show from it because of the weed I had some lug left . I've been looking at some new marks and I headed off to one today. So after finally getting there And setting up it looked perfect for flats . And on the first cast the rod tip went . . A 37cm flounder best one for me so far . It was swollen from lug worm . Happy days. , blank saved. Next cast bang bang , another flounder. Can't believe my luck a 35cm. Can't remember when I had two casts two flat fish. The day carried on the same way. With the best one commin in at 39 cm and a cast a fish. I changed distance and a nice sea trout came my way. Must be. A gully because I had 4 sea trout in total from the same area. After a while I saw a nod nod a flounder , and as usual when I had one hand on a sambo and a drink in the other the rod went nuts. Drop the lot lifted into it and after a battle a bass my first for 2years and pb for me . . Over the moon. That happy I did a dance. With a quick pic and weigh it was 48cm long and 3.5lb. And it went to sea like a rocket. At the end of the day I had 10 flounder from 39 the biggest and 25 cm the smallest. 4sea trout. And a west coast bass. All realised to fight another day.
I'm still on a high.
