We came over for our yearly mecca to Waterville and due to other commitments this year we had much less fishing time, but, we still had a fantastic break. We caught Bass to 6lb, Huss to 8lb, Flounder to 2lb and Pollack to 6lb! I had two days out with the legend, John Quinlan and yet again he surpassed himself. Thanks to his patience and knowledge, I managed to break my surface lure duck, break my PB, learn loads more about fishing soft plastics and have a cracking laugh.
I also fished a 2 day competition with Waterville SAC and enjoyed myself immensely, a cracking bunch who were most welcoming. I want to say a massive thank you to the excellent Chris Nelms and Joe Murphy who surpassed themselves and congratulate the incredible Allen Griffin (apologies if I spelt the name wrong
) a very worthy winner.
