Tide: 8.15pm

Weathe:Showery and blustery

Bait: Crab,lug,mack.sandell and squid

Rigs: 2 and 3 hook flapper

Results: I got 2 flounder 1 of 38 cm and the other was 36,out of a total of 15 fish that were caught.

Report:
I left galway at 9 yesterday morning and went straight to midleton where i got a dozen crab from a friend that got them for me,i got to youghal shortly after 1.30 and after some lunch and a chat with the lads we started fishing at 3 but it didnt last long with all the weed that was causing havoc with our lines so the decision was made to move over to monatray at 3.30 at 4.20 i got my line in the water and got the first fish of the day a 38 cm flounder and 20 mins later i caught my 2nd and that was it for the rest of the session, the other lads that were with me got a mixed bag of 1 silver eel,2 codling 3 coalies and 7 flounder,it was great to get back down there after an absence of 7 years, but as Arnold said I WILL BE BACK and it wont be left as long
