At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Favourite Rod: Daiwa supercast bass / Surecatch Sa
Hi folks. I'm back again looking for more advice as I broke the tip off my trusty devil in the car door my budget is tight as I'm buying a reel also. So far I've picked up the grauvell teknos gold, Abu vendetta, bushwhacker and a surecatch salty powerbraid. Any others worth considering in the sub 100 euro bracket before I buy one of the above tommorrow? thanks again
The surecatch salty all the way this rod is a great rod for the money.I have broke so many of these light lure rods but the surecatch salty is by far the best one i have had it will take some abuse.you are more than welcome to try my one before you buy one yourself.

An extra 10% off with code GA49A6DR (This weekend only)
that looks like a brilliant deal. I'm after something rated to 30g at the minute. Very tempting though.........

The bushwacker is great to fish with BUT the top section snaps easy .for me the bushwhacker is a bit like triggers brush in fools and horses.
If Ray,says its a gud1 then id go with it for sure judging by the amount of carbon build up in his sitting room and on the strength of Rays knowledge of rods that don't break have a peek at the blackrock akita series, very nice bit of kit that won't break the bank.

Got an 8ft Salty today, done and dusted going reel shopping tomorrow and I'll pick up another Abu devil as a backup rod as I'm at it. Cheers for the advice folks
