has any anglers used the fish lip gripper scales
has any anglers used the fish lip gripper scales. ive never tried them before. ive always used the old method. scales and a sling. any thoughts please.

I would also like to hear opinions on these. I saw one of the grippers but it had pointed jaws which looked like they might damage a fish.

i always use them but my clamps have rounded ends and dont seem to harm the fish. find them reliable

Clipping a fish by the jaws holing them up measuring there weight doesn't sound like that safest way of treating the fish if it's for catch and release...
There a complete waste of money if you ask me, overpriced and a part of the bling culture of lure fishing...

Mine only cost 10 euro, and its no worse than them being hooked and dragged from whence they came. it just takes a couple of seconds and just for larger fish
