6th ledges and cushendun

Me, costa and dave

weather.. flat calm no rain

bait.. rag,mac,mussell and squid.

tide.. 1 up and 3 over high

4 rockling, 1 dog, 1 flattie
, 1 whitting.

not great most fell to the mussell but craic was good.

did the fish come off the ledges or cushendun?

Can find a single mark this year producing much.

We fished the ledges at low tide the day before New Years Eve and got a coalie at 2lb, we also lost 2 sizeable fish (coalies??)

At this mark, you really need to strike and retrieve really quickly as it can be 'snag-city at low tide.

Even still, it is one of my favorite marks as I've had my best haul ever here (7 species last May).

pookie, try carnlough beach, its seems to be throwing up a good few fish, mostly in darkness.
