People: Me and m.b3

Duration: 15.30 - 19.30

Tide: HT ~ 18.00

Weather: Calm, too calm!

Bait: fresh crab, fresh lug, fresh mussel and frozen squid.

Rigs: 2 and 3 hook clip downs and flappers

Results: 2 Flounder, 2 rockling, countless Dab and numerous whiting

Report: A lovely evening to be fishing, really calm and not too cold. We both caught nothing for the first two casts and then got a fish or two a cast every chuck after that. The flounder were taken in daylight, marks at distance and mine at about 15 yards, the biggest at 28cm. Most of the dab were between 20 - 24cm and the whiting and rockling were tiny. Nice to be getting a few flats for a change. Lug tipped with squid or crab claw accounted for most of the fish.
