went out with the two kids and a friend just south of the hook frozen mackeral and fresh rag baits , about a dozen codling to 3lbs, one pouting and we stopped on the way back in just off the flat rocks the water was racing hard had difficulty holding the bottom but we got plenty of small dabs and three small red gurnard great to be back out again

yeah was out myself saturday off hook getting plenty of cod biggest at 5.5lb also getting pollock and small poult. met a pod of dolphins just outside the harbour. were you picking up the dabs on the drift or anchored?

threw out a weight to slow down the drift as the tide was racing they were no great size but we had plenty
