Heading over to Ireland (west Kerry) soon for a trip with Family and friends. I would love to hook a Bull Huss. We do not have these where I live, any tips for Baits, rigs, hooking etc would be great.
Thanks in advance!
Owen

Re: Catching Bull Huss
If you narrow down the location a bit you might get a better response.
The Shannon Estuary will produce some huss and ray.
There's a few lads on here who might help in that area.
Ventry beach near Dingle will produce then also.
Do a search here and use the words Kerry Huss

Re: Catching Bull Huss
I've been hitting a few lately, I found a flowing trace-3/0 hooks baited with large chunks of mackerel worked best. I also had them on 8/0 flowing traces with whole mackerel.
