Hi guys, new to this....

Anyone know any good Huss marks around the Courtmacsherry area in Co.Cork,and whens best time a year to fish em ,if any? Ta guys.

we get them around dunworley bay which is is on the westermn side of the seven heads (the headland on which courtmac is situated). its a bit of a treck tho. we generally fish for them in the summer months. may onwards, but thats because im in collage up the country so i dont get the chance at other times of the year.

hey man. theres a mark called Barrys Point where we've got them too. Fish at dusk at low tide (I don't know why!)

Welcome to the site urbotcharger! I'm sure you will find some great advice here. I went out with some "know it alls" over the weekend who despite their "self vouched pedigree" blanked. I caught a crab hehe. I think you should learn your own area first before venturing south!!!! You are good at digging lug though! Nice sprong! :D :D :D

Thanks for the advice Quarter..much needed....i'm glad u like the sprong ,but it has no application for a guy that sits behind a desk all week peeing ppl off on the forums of fishing sites :P

I bought some salmon in SuperValu for my tea last night although I was expecting a nice bit of fresh fish. Mind you the only fish I saw over the weekend was a turbot and that was not fresh :D :D :D :D
