IMA Komomo SF 125 € 25 ish
Peyo Aqula 125 ebay € 6
Couldnt believe how similar they are and in fact I wouldnt be surprised if they are made by the same factory.
Definitly isnt worth the €19 extra for the IMA. Ok you are limited in colour chocie with the Peyo that I can see but the action, feel, weight and casting ability of the Peyo is spot on. Maybe the trebs would need to be replaced, not convinced though.
If your not a fish snob then check out the Peyo..! Unreal for the money.

I use Payo Lures since a few years with no problems. Highly recommended. Here my favourite: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PAYO-Toeshot-Sa ... 61d19fc199

Hi I have been using payo lures for a couple of years now & caught quit a few bass on them. I find the sea shot payo lures excellent. The hooks are of good quality you don't need to change them.

Looks great..! I'll have to try one of those too. Looks similar to a Yo zuri crystal minnow and the like.

Re: IMA lures vs Peyo Lures
Following a tip off from The Austrian (cheers buddy!) I bought a few off Zeebars010 on ebay. The finish is quality and there's no need to change the hooks.
The sasuke is the little brother of the Aqula and the action is terrific. I bought four different lures to try for the princely sum of €29 including P&P from Holland.
Looking forward to my fortnight in Kerry (two weeks and four days to go..but who's counting!) to give them a good workout. Will post up a report once I know if they catch as well as they look.

Please Stop Steve.....I have 7 weeks to wait. But it will be September, big tides and lots of fish. I can feel the excitment building to the point where I will be impossible to live with a week beforehand.Steve wrote:Looking forward to my fortnight in Kerry (two weeks and four days to go..but who's counting!) to give them a good workout. Yes Eoghan why not buy copies if they work. When I mentioned imitation lures on the bling thread this is what I was driving at. There are at least three companies copying specific Japanese lures. Not just IMA lures but lures like the Tacklehouse Feedshallow and Duo Tide Minnow. Payo is one. Rapture is another you could try to find on Google. I have enough lures to keep my going but would have no hesitation in using copies.

The payo seashot lure is great fishes at a depth of less that 3 feet there are about 10 different lures in the pato seashot range. The sea 6 lure is a great colour have caught bass on it.

Re: IMA lures vs Peyo Lures
1poundfish - In work so can't check, but fairly sure I got a Gyro, Aegis, Sasuke and Toe Shot to try out.
Good feedback on the Toe shot already - and the sasuke which I have used has a super action - deffo going to see some fish on this lure (2 weeks 2 days Eoghan!!). The Gyro is a popkey copy and the Aegis is a Megabass copy.
The gyro is a topwater lure, all the rest dive to between 1 and 3 feet I think. When you actually go into Zeebars010 shop if you click on each lure there will be a description of diving depths etc.
I've only used one of these lures and briefly so looking forward to giving them all a good run out soon. If they catch fish at this price its a bit of a no brainer to have some in the bag.
