At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Advice on Reel and Rod

Hey guys,

I am going to get a Real and Rod tomorrow and i just need some advice on what are good brands to get. I can spend around 100-150 for the lot so i want to get something somewhat decent. This will be for spinning mainly for Pollock off the rocks, or bass or even mackerel. What do you suggest?

okuma trio 40 s reel and a savage gear bush wacker 40 /60 be a good all round out fit
bass PB 10 lb , thornback ray PB 11lb, smooth hound PB 12lb, cod PB 9lb wish list for this year turbot painted ray undulate ray nd gilt head bream
