#1 Post by John D »

What do people think of this potentially good fish net innovation?

Here's hoping it builds up the stocks!?!?

Makes all excellent sense and is a brilliant innovative idea. All what needs to be done know is to make it compulsory. The chances of this happening soon in order to really make an impact on future stocks and to overcome all the political and commercial hurdles is the big challenge. There is a possible solution, get to work now Governments and EU politicians, you all get a good wage paid :)

Iv noticed this year in particular im not catching as much Codling, pollack, coal fish im not sure if this is a common thread or just me. But it does seem like numbers are not what they were on shore, im certainly finding the same off the boat , mind you iv only been out 3-4 times this year of the boat.

Thats great news. With all our modern technology fishermen still drag a net. Maybe this is the start of something new
