Calling all Lady Anglers!

The Connacht Open Gold Medal is due to take place on the 20th of July 2013.
This is the permier shore competition in the province. The competition is organised by the shore committee of the Connacht Council of the IFSA. Provisionally the event is due to take place near Clew Bay Co. Mayo, with Silver strand near Louisburg a likely venue. Flat fish will be the main target... of the day.

This year is unique as it will also include the first competition to qualify for the Connacht Ladies Interprovincial team in 2014. The ladies making the team will then represent the province at the interprovinicals in February, they will have home advantage with Mullaghmore SAC (Co. Sligo) hosting the competition.

Please spread the word to any Lady anglers who might be interested in meeting up with other lady anglers - theres more of you out there than you think!
Novices are most welcome.

Hi all.
Leg 4 of the shore league is on the 20th July on Keel Strand, Achill.
It is also the Connaught open gold medal and the qualifier for the connaught under age teams and the ladies team.
Fishing will be from 9am-2pm, check in will be at the venue from 8am.
Sorry about the early start but in order to get the best from the venue we have little choice.
Entries for Ladies, Juniors and Seniors is €15. The Ladies and Junior entries will go towards funds for the Inter provincial Championships.
