Had an early 6.30 start on Sunday morning. The weather was amazing, sun shining bright and no wind. Off I went and tied off to a buoy about 200metres from the launch. Very quiet so after 30 minutes I went out further and tied off to a pot. I wasn’t long in producing a few wrasse

And a cod

Sitting tight I was, sure I had no reason to move as I was on the fish but some fool on a boat thought it to be funny to do a circle around the kayak. It produced a awkward lump and I had to release from the pot. I then realized it was young kid and what looked like his grand father. After a few choice words I went back over and tied off but the fish were gone !!! Either I couldn’t get back on the spot I was on or the fooker frightened them off. From there I decided to drift which produced two more codling, a few whitning and another codling on the way back in while trolling. No big sizes in any of the fish but kept busy for the few hours and happy to be out
