If you use JB clips you don't have to cut them off they fit through the eyes of spinning rod.

I'm uncertain if any Irish shop stocks them, I've tried a few but I'm sure Google is your best friend there: https://www.google.ie/search?q=jb+clips ... hannel=rcs
there are alternatives though, so do not get stuck on a specific brand just because some recommends it. Hope this helps.

I take the clip off and wind down everytime...but that's just because I put my reels in my tackle bag and I usually have my two bait rods as well...and tripod...so they all be bound together and carried over the shoulder!..doesn't take much time to tie on another swivel and I always have nail cutters for cutting line and tag ends!..
sure, its not raining between the showers!

my apologies but I'm lost now totally, please elaborate, what is it exactly you're trying to achieve there?
Seriously lads, I'm not taking the piss here at him, just the language barrier seems to hamper any fruitful conversation attempts - can anyone help him out of this dilemma and translate? I am fluent in german and can even grasp some italo - romanic terms quite well if this is any help, I'm no good in any slovakian or slovenian languages though, sorry, I grew up the other side of the iron curtain ;) but I'm more than willing to help!

I use the jb clips myself, they're a great job. I get them from Mike in Mr Fish, Jersey.

15-20lb braid tied to 15-20lb Flurocarbon using a double uni knot. I snaplink on the end of about 30lb test (Veals do Varivas Nice Clips, they are ideal for the purpose and cheap as chips).
https://www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/variva ... -2649.html
Tie the clip on with a palomar knot. Bomb proof rig.
You can use one of these too:

Problem sorted ;)

a breakaway spin link clip ,tie a swivel on your leader and just clip the spinlink on after you put the swivel through the eyes of the rod  clip it off before you put it away ,a small rubber bead infront of the swivel can save your tip eye from accidental damage too
