Report
Al' jordan and dan from belfast came up for a throw at the thornies down at fahan beach, so they lifted ivan (rodbender) from the site on the way up. me and Tom meet up with them at fahan and had a bit of a catch up, for its been a few years now since ivan has been up this way due to ill health, and it was great to see him back up and on his feet again. so after a bit of banter we hit the beach in search of thornies. for there was a bet on between me and jordan on who will get the best :D so everyone got set up, baited and got the rods in the water, so between the five of us we had ten rods fishing and our hopes were high. just ten minutes in i landed a nice wee thornie, got a few pic's with ivan and got it back in the water. after that things were very quiet with nothing for hours. then Tom landed a flunder :) boy was he glad to beat the blank :D :D he then landed a few more, then it was my turn again with a nicely marked thornie, jordan then landed a nice thornie just as Tom landed another flounder, got a few pic's and got them back to the water. we fished on up to around 4pm then packed up and headed for home, unlucky for Al' and Dan not getting into the fish this trip but there's always next time. but as always the banter and crack was 90 and we all enjoyed the day.

it was a great day out don and good to get the gang togeather again :D
sadly the fish wer avoiding me and even breaking out the fish dance did'nt help much :(
it had the wrong effect and all the fish went to tom beside me
so i think it's time to place an add in the paper reading,

" REWARD OFFERD. one lost fishing mojo, last spotted on the rocks outside newcastle co down in late feburary. the owner (AL) is heartbroken and wishes it's swift, speedy and safe return. "
