Report:headed out early this morn drizzly at start but cleared very fast to sunny conditions.first stop tried for flats dab whiting codling and a solitary plaice obliged.anchored for an hour got a blonde dogs and more dabs.time for another drift codling in threes and another nice plaice to add. headed out then and stopped on another mark that can produce flats and it did in the shape of thornies 6 on first drift three the next mark stored and out to deep water, shocking one whiting ,quick turn about and headed back in.had another drift over mark on way in two more thornies, then in to try for a flounder took about 20 mins to persuade one to take a good chunky one appeared few more and dabs to finish a good day and sign for things to come hopefully

Nice catches there. With all the rain down your way recently, there must be a lot more fresh water in the harbour area reducing the salinity. Does it have any noticeable effect on fishing?
