#1 Post by Donagh »

People:Me

Duration:11am till 2:30pm

Tide:Spring low at 1pm

Weather: westery breeze light to moderate

Bait: sand eel, mackerel

Rigs: 3 hook boom rigs and pulleys. hooks 1/0 to size 2

Results: One small dab caught as far as I could cast with the mags down to 3.
Report:I don't seem to have much success over several session from the last few years here in winter though I've heard it to be good. Anyone give me clue as to conditions/tide to fish here in the winter?

Met Eoin here and he told me there was a 25lb conger taken from the pontoon in foynes in the last few weeks.
