Well is been a while coming but managed to get back out for a spin in the boat today, hard to beleive i have not been out since the start of january. the target today had to be dabs, i had to try get a score on the card,so off and out we went didnt have to wait long for the dabs within a couple of minutes the first of many (about 30) came aboard not big but a dab that counted, best i had was a slab of a fish that came in at a whopping 23cm we also managed the usual pins not in huge numbers and a few dogs.
headed in search of a few more species but things were very slow apart from a few small pollack upto about 1.5lb and a sea scorpion. heading back to harbour we stopped of for a while again managed a couple of pollack but were persecuted by them poxy seals again 3 of them, why arnt they on the shooting list all in all it felt great to be able to get myself back on the water hopefully there will be more to come
