Southern Wexford, rocky mark, 28th April '13

People:Mise, Gregory agús mó áthair

Duration:19:15 until 21:00

Tide:High at approximately 20:22

Weather:Moderate west/north west breeze, calm and clear sea, 12 degrees, dry, sunny.

Bait:N/A

Rigs:I tried a hard plastic surface lure, a hard plastic suspending lure and a couple of soft plastics with jig heads.

Results:Nothing.




Report:
Protect the magical sport of sea angling and spread the word that conservation is the way forward. Put fish back!!!!

Hard luck John will be trying with the spinners etc myself this year so I expect to have many a blank as well :roll:

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

I was out sat morning in a spot which normally produces wrasse and pollock for 3 hours with soft plastics and a rod with rag and a float set up. Not a touch on either rod. Let's hope the water temp picks up a bit more

Species 2012:coalie,doggie,codling,shore and 5bearded rockling,3bearded rockling,pouting,whiting,wrasse,bass,plaice,flounder,dab,smoothhound,hiss,tope,cod,tub and gray gurnard,Pollack

Species 2013:Double figure smoothy off the beach,doggie,gray gurnard,codling,goalie,flounder,plaice,whiting,tope. Double figure huss off the beach,dab, bass,pouting,silver eel.
