I know this is a sea angling forum,but due to all the blanks and tiddlers, thought I'd share what I think is closer to 'real' fish, having blanked so much myself lately at sea.
17lb 11oz,fell to a savage gear Real eel.>>
Now, back to the sea I go!

2014 : dogfish, garfish, launce, common blenny, cuckoo wrasse, flounder, pollack, thornback ray,

2013 species:(15) Whiting, Dogfish, Three Bearded Rockling, bull huss, poor cod,turbot, flounder,pollack, spotted ray, thornback ray, launce, corkwing wrasse, long spined sea scorpion, common blenny,mackerel,

Very nice Pike so thats what fish look like. :o . Good scrap of it?
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

Nice big lady! Looks in good condition, she must have spawned some time ago. Been after one myself for the past while, can't seem to get past the wee Jacks. Was it from the boat or shore?

shore.River mark. she was in great shape, after quick photo, weigh, she went back with a swoosh, no need to give her a breather at all!

Fine pike. They can be a bit sluggish in cold weather. If you caught her on a warm day she would give you a good run for your money!

Fair play on a fine fish,i bought 3 of them eels during the week,i heard alot of talk about them,i wont be using them till the summer as ill be fly fishing till than.Congrats on the fish.

Always CAR! unless its a pollock...!

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!
