Greystones 7th April

#1 Post by john bass »

People: myself

Duration: 7pm to 12

Tide:HW around 11pm

Weather: mild

Bait:lug, mack & crab

Rigs: 3 hook flapper & pulleys

Results: whiting & flounder

Report:
was a lovely eveing for fishing in greystones and was delighted not to blank on my first session of the year fishing into the darkness. weather was good, not too cold and calm but a decent roll on the sea. had set up about seven but didnt even get a bite until darkness fell. 2 " wicklow piranhnas" on the flapper close in. thought they were going to takeover the noght after that but never got anohter one. got a small flounder just before HW and that was it for the night. least another blank avoided and was good to get out. bring on the good weather and some decent fishing.
