Hi lads,
Just a update on lure fishing for bass yesterday. Fished a incoming tide for 5 hrs yesterday at 2 different marks down west cork. A cold sunny day & not a sign of a bass fished hard lures at different depths, bright & natural colours. Water is still very cold I think it will be a few weeks yet before bass will start to show up.

I had the same on the SE coast over the weekend too. I'll keep trying on a weekly basis and keep updated.

Re: Lure fishing yesterday
Hi all was out 4 times this week around cork harbour and the same outcome nothing at all to all sorts of lures hard or soft. Few sea trout milling around but would not take anything either. Looking forward to the warmer weather arriving.

Re: Lure fishing yesterday
Went few times during last week. Checked every mark I know in the area, went on my yak and...
Not even a sight of fish. No bass, no mullets, no sandeels. Water is getting warmer and where I fished yesterday it was really ok, but still not a sniff. Tried hard lures, softies and fly fishing.
