brittas and anny 3-4-13

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

People:me and shane h

Duration:4pm till 5.30 and 6 till 10

Tide:full at about 5

Weather:steady easterly

Bait:lug mac squid sandeel and teeny weeney wag woms

Rigs:pullys and flaps

Results:flounders and a whiting :|

Report:We had intended to fish a rock mark for huss but the waves hammering the coast put a stop to that
Had a test for silver on brittas but after an hour and a half of untouched baits we decided anny might be more fishey :|
Not much till finally my in close rod had a slack line bite ,wound down fish on!
After what felt like an eternity out of the surf came a fine flounder 8) happy days blank saved :!:
what followed can only be described as a flounder bash with three more fish of a similar stamp falling to my wickle wag worm baits 8)
Not wanting to be left out shane had a prolonged tussel with a marauding whiting !we knew it couldnt get any better than this 8) so headed home for a good feed and well deserved rest after such a crazey session !

You'll have arms like Popeye after reeling in a few fish like them Roger  but I wouldn't have minded a few of them over the last few weeks after four blanks in a row
Cheers Brian
