greystones 24-3-13

Duration:30 seconds

Tide:rising

Weather:25 mph easterly

Bait:didnt matter

Rigs:gone

Results:0




Report:took a chance on greystones through the arch didnt unpack just set up one rod with a three hook clipped down before i got the rod in the rest the tip was heavey put it in the rest and down it went reeled in and got as far as the last breaker before a tug of war with a ball of weed that i lost :lol: the harbour was getting a good soaking and the tide still had 2 hours left of the rise so that was a non runner exit stage left to bray harbour ,didnt even have a cast as the waves where all but getting over the wall aswell ,i returned home a beaten man :cry: :cry: i left everything in the van for tonight cos i dont give in that easy! :wink:

I fished Wicklow last night for 3 hours and caught one crab all night .the waves were huge .good luck tonight

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

Managed 1.5 hours on bray till things got hairy!one plump 38cm codling on fresh crab;-) can't wait for tonight B-)

you could tie a rope around your waist and tie it too the railings if it's that hairy, no point in ruining a good cod session because of a few waves :lol: :lol:

i may joke a little bit but not when it comes to cod :mrgreen: one fish and i,m going again in a few min as dusk seems best you dont get cod in bray unless the sea is BIG :lol: HE WHO DARES WINS , AND I,LL TAKE A FEW PICS TOO ! :lol:

Well done Rodger u deserved a fish for going out in that weather.
