I can highly recommend gardening as an alternative, just finished planting 8 60ft rows of spuds and 4 rows of onions at equal length. The stuff apparently goes quite well with all these delicious fish dishes. Well, that's when they finally decide to appear again, starved and ready to devour any of my baits

For the rich, there is therapy. For the rest of us, there is FISHING! --
Its great to be from the real capitol. Bass bein caught from schoolies to 11lb+. Flounder to over 40cm. Thornies to over 11lbs and more coalies than you can shake a stick at. Throw in the turbot, codling and whiting and youve got plenty of species to make up a lovely fish pie to go with martins fresh veg. And all in the last few weeks too
You wouldn't happen to have the recipe for that pie handy Denis? My mouth is watering already, sounds really delicious And do you have a wine recommendation for my 48lb Albacore which I've stored in the freezer since my trip to Foynes last week? Not sure, Sauvignon or Riesling - decisions, decisions, story of my life!
