I haven't dropped a line in Morocco since 35 odd years but I have a good friend in Tarifa, she keeps me updated regularly - anyway and FWIW, just make sure you don't fall for any of these 'guides' offering and promising you basically anything. Look up any reputable sources online beforehand, Trip advisor is a good source for basic info http://www.tripadvisor.ie/ShowUserRevie ... egion.html or - when already there, try to find out where fish are unloaded from boats into port, mostly early mornings or sometimes in the evening. Many skippers are willing to take you out as crew for a small fee on their next trip. Avoid the well known and heavily advertised tourist traps at all cost! If you hear someone shouting 'baksish' ignore them and walk away.
