Shimano Aerlex Spare spool

Spent a while trying to source a spare spool for my Aerlex 7000 xsa and found a few people having the same problem, http://www.sea-angling-ireland.org/bull ... ol#p303314. Just incase this info is of help to anyone, I bought a Shimano navi on the weekend (Thanks lurehunter1) and the size 7000 and 6000 spools that came with the reel both fit the aerlex perfectly.

i bought a spare spool for my 8000 aerlex had to get it from gerrys fishing cost 30 quid inc postage

I bought a 8000 and found I needed a spare spool . So after a look around I bought a 7000 and the two spools fit perfect. So when one reel is worn out the other will be used. Lucky on the site is selling aerlex reels if they are not sold all ready.

Nearly all the shimano aerlex.navi .biomaster.beastmaster.titanos style reels have interchangable spools they havent changed in about 20yrs
