can you fish from the point of this pier at the metal girders,has anyone fished it,how did you get out to it as it is all fenced off,except if you jump down onto the pontoon for the ferry and walk up the gangway.
was boat fishing in bay last month and saw 3 guys fishing it sitting in deck chairs,looks deep water and fishy

by the way should any thing happen to you [god forbid] you have no comebackwhat so ever as you should not be out there unless by previous arrangement with moyle district council only,in written conformation,there are only 2-3 clubs allowed to fish there my own being one.

it is deep and it is supposed to hold some really big conger in close and good whiting codling and inevitable dogs out on sand.you can also fish from the small pier running out towards it but isnt just as deep water, have seen some nice fish come off it though at dark.
