Report:Got a Green card for today and had arranged to meet Junior Conger and his dad. During the week looking at the weather i did not think that i would be travelling but the forecast was spot on for once with no breeze and more importantly no Rain

Had ordered fresh crab so first stop was to meet up with John and collect bait, grabbed a bite to eat and off to the mark to set up.
I Just had the gear set up when the 2 lads arrived so after a bit of banter baits were ready to be launched. Anticipation was up as everything looked perfect, the first, probably an hour was quite but that was to be expexted as we still had daylight. As the sun set there was a little bit of movement, i had a codling that weighed around 1.5lb, Ruairi caught a codling of 2lbs at this stage things went quite enough again, we were getting bites, good solid bites but no hook ups

Joe then caught a rockling so at least we knew that there fish around

Baits back in the water and anticiaption running high after the ray, but again things went quiet, with doggies, rockling and another codling appearing. The lads left just after 10pm and i battled on till just after 11pm with just 2 doggies to show for it, or else it was the doggie the whole time
