Report: Was going to fish monkstown saturday but with all the rain there was no point so i headed out to garyvoe about 6 the first half an hour was ok i got a flounder and my buddy got a few colies but after that the weed started to show and was impossible to fish so with a ton of bait left over i headed to monkstown by myself on sunday morning, got set up around half 9 casted a big juicy crab half way out while baiting up another trace i got a serious bite rod was going mad started to reel a big weight and a lovely fight had it in about half way out and my leader knot went !!!!!! gutted knot must of been wrecked from all the weed the night before never the less i put on a second reel and casted out a 3h flapper close in got a few small bites but waited while i was finished setting up another trace finished that i began to reel in and there was a dead weight and only a small fight for some reason i thought it was a ray or weed but it was actually 2 doggies and a codling my arms were dead  the next half an hour i was getting fish every cast and got a bit bored so i decided to try for a conger on a second rod put on a mackrell flapper with a 4/0 hook the biggest i had casted that out, while reeling in my main rod i noticed a serious bite on my conger rod i dropped my main rod and began to reel in there was the biggest weight and fight on the rod i ever had in my life i was thinking to my self at least 30lb plus conger next thing what pops out of the water a FU*KING seal with my trace he was taking line of my real and all. i thought i would try and play him for a while for but 30 seconds later the line snaps   for the next few hours it was the same 2 or 3 fish a cast all small i decided to head home then because my hand were numb. All on all had about 30 fish good fun session
