Re: Anyone for the Swords show??
I'm biased....only went to city west once....very poor.
I am looking forward to the Swords show....I see that some of the manufacturers are beginning to attend in their own right...Pure Fishing, Diawa. Etc. as well. Hopefully there will be more lures and plastics.
Good crop of speakers for the sea anglers too....Mike Thrusell, Henry Gilbey, Mary Gavin, etc etc....
Specimen awards on Sat afternoon...could be a good weekend!

Swords show is awfull save yourself 10 euro entry and don't bother it was good but the uk tackle dealers stopped coming and now there is little to nothing for shore anglers. There is about 5 stands from ifi and the same in tour operators not my thing sorry

Re: Anyone for the Swords show??
I go every year well worth the tenner in, Jim and Mary GH are always worth seeing in the flesh!!!
A tenner ain't much considering what you'd spend on a blank session with bait and juice, get out there and support the dealers there!!!!
I'd rather the show is there than not!!

I went last year, prob not do it again this year.
Worth it for Jim's presentation alone, got some good bits of kit too.
