Report: We fished a pier just up off the South Wexford coast.
Arrived about 5ish and Skelly and Jay had been there 15 mins or so, with Skelly taking a small Flounder and codling on his first cast followed by Jay with a nice plump little Codling about 30 cm. as the tide turned bites increased and all 4 of us were taking fish every 2nd cast or so.
Best fish of the night went to Skelly with a nice Whiting of 34 cm, Best codling was 34 cm.
Most fish were in the 30 cm bracket , except for the flats, only 1 or 2 nice dabs just short of 30 cm were taken. A couple of the Pout came in at just under 30 cm also. Best catch of the night went to D2FISH with a treble of Codling 2 over 30 cm and one just under.
Over all an enjoyable night, agreeable weather, enjoyable company, and the fist of many "I hope" enjoyable sessions of 2013.

Sounds like a worthwhile trip. 30+ cm whiting are always welcome

Nice evening to be out all right. Great little session with plenty of fish caught. Fair play to yer man for moving them boxes. Could of been a tight squeeze if he hadnt
