Shakespeare Atlantis Salt fly rod.

#1 Post by redzerologhlen »

Has anyone on here any experience of the above fly rod? It comes in both 8# and 10# and it costs about 50 quid sterling. I have read various different reviews and they all seem to be fairly positive. I want to try and get started doing swff this year but I dont fancy spending a fortune until I am sure I can do it and at the same time I dont want a piece of crap rod that would turn me off it. Any info much appreciated.

3 pieces - with a fore grip - at that price, and fishing around the tough coast of Clare it will do the job, don't expect miracles - if BIG pollack fishing close in deep water then maybe the #10 otherwise the #8
