hi jonny,
you can catch wrasse ,pollack, coalies, conger,,sea trout and lots of mini species such as rockling and bullheads.
at this time of year it would be mostly coalies, conger and mini species, but there are still some wrasse and pollack about as last monday at the ledges 2of us caught 6 wrasse and 11 pollack between us in a haul of approx. 40 fish.
you can leger with a rotten bottom, spin for coalies or float fish ,best on a small tide and at slack water times as a strong run of tide here can drag leger rigs into snags ,or drift your float along at 90 mph
good luck rab
if it cant get its jaws round a 1/0 its not worth catching [ mullet excluded ]
