At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Yeah, based on the 7000 series but with the narrow spool. Sounds good for loading up with Braid/light line work.

Don't have one myself cos I'm all reeled up at the mo, but I'll be interested in hearing how they fish.

What kind of use you going to be putting it to?

well all lot of the marks i fish are around cork harbor and kinsale are off rock there it seem to cast quit far in compare to fixed spool reel i have its just getting use to reeling in with my left hand caught my first fish on it the other night also a new rod got broke in a Neptune it was a dog fish but broke the old stigma that comes when you buy new gear in trying to cacth a fish its a bit more bulky than the IE 6500 series which i like don't know why but it a very strong reel i am total coverted to multipliers now the reel was 97 euro from Murray,s tackle shop on Patrick street cork city don't know if this is cheap or what
